So I have 2 12" kicker cvr subs in the boat and they were wired to a JL 500/1 amp. My amp fried and I now have a lightning audio strike s4.1000.1d amp. Will this amp fry my subs? The specs on the amp say:

250 watts x 1 @ 4 ohms
500 watts x 1 @ 2 ohms
1000 watts x 1 @ 1 ohm

I'm not entirely sure how the subs are wired together but I took an ohms reading at the 2 wires that go to the amp and got just a little under 4 ohms.

here are the links to what I have:

http://www.lightningaudio.com/produc...3&locale=en_US

http://www.google.com/products/catal...ed=0CHAQ8wIwAg

So my assumption is that the subs are wired for a total of 4 ohms and my amp will only put out 250w @ 4-ohms, so I should be OK?
