I had an '04 135 Absolute. I loved it. I went to the 141 due to the fact that a few extra pounds found me and the 141 suited a 170lb frame. You can't go wrong with the Absolute IMO. Huge pop, butta smooth landings.

I'm 200+ and ride an absolut plat 141, but I did test ride the 135, and felt completely comfortable on it.

Not to change the subject but.........What is the dif. between the absolute and the absolute platinum? I know it is lighter but is that really worth the extra$$?

I ride an '05 Absolute 141. I demo'd the 135 for about a week and found that my fata$$ needed the extra 6cm. The board rides great!!! Explosive off the wake and soft on the landings! I ride without the center fin and the board is great for any surface tricks you would want to try!!! BUY IT!

I really like the '05 absolute 135. I was riding a substance 138 previously. To me, this board tracks well, rides slower, and has tremendous pop. Although, I don't believe the landings are as soft. The board rides much better finless. I definately recommend that you at least demo the board.

Chris, the plat has two titanium rods running the spine of the board. That, making it stronger, I believe also makes a bit of a difference in weight.

And if you're thinking about the Marius vs the Absolute, here's a comparrision posted a few weeks ago. I ride the Abs. 135 and was thinking of going to the Marius.

'The Absolute pops harder than a Marius in my experience. I have both boards. Marius is smoother and faster. You will certainly go big on both boards, but the Absolute should be more abrupt.'
