Am I missing something or isn't the purevert ballast calabria has 700 pounds?

I think your right about Purevert on the 21' Calabria, nu bu. Not sure if they bumped it up on the bigger boats or not. It might still make loading at the ramp a little tough.

it'll be interesting to see how well it works. i could see one problem with it. one day i was on a friends 06 vlx with about 3000lbs of ballast and probably 8 people in the boat. we were teaching some people so pulled the wedge up to save on gas. when i would pull out of the throttle when they fell there was so much weight up front that when the nose sat down it dipped so far under that it filled the entire boat with about 10 inches of water. when we run that same set up and the wedge down it wont let the nose dip under. i'm just wondering that maybe people wont be able to run as much front weight as before. i hope malibu tested the boats under well weighted conditions and not just stock ballast.
