I have a ronix one 146. I like the board, but i would like to get something a little bit faster. The one has great pop and soft landings but it takes alot to go wake to wake. I thought about trying the Ibex, but I am not sure. Any ideas would be great.

If you have any interest in a flex board the slingshot response is fast, and they make a 145.

if you want to stay with ronix i think the viva would be right up your alley. Otherwise i would suggest any board that is not a pure or abrupt 3 stage rocker. try the continuous, continuous hybrid, progressive 3 stage rocker types from any company.

IF you really love the agressive bucking style of pop and would prefer to stay on the threestage and aggressive 3 stage boards then i might suggest speeding the boat up a notch... What speed are you going anyway?

Also, speaking without personal experience, Obrien has the Delta base on their boards which is supposed to give additional speed (such as the design on speed-boat hulls). i don't think i have heard anyone yet who has actually ridden one say that the delta base does not work. this would be another potential way to keep a 3 stage board but get faster speed.

the LF lyman is a good speedy board and soft too

i also agree with the flex boards. give em a shot if you have not yet. very soft landings

I am riding between 18 and 21. I like the everything about the one but I have to edge as far out as I can to just make it w2w. I rode a trip last year, had no problem going w2w. I could cut out 10 to 15ft and clear. I would like to stay with ronix, but have been interested in the flex boards. I am 6ft1 around 208-210 if that helps.
