Parks 138

I am buying the Parks 138. But I am trying to figure out if I want to spend a little more money for a DNA core or Stick with biolite.

DNA supposedly has more pop. I like my dna.

I have DNA and like the pop a lot. My brother in law has the BIO core (identicle board other than that). Have not had the opportunity to ride one then immediately ride the other to see the difference. When I do, I'll let you know.

I have heard that the DNA has a little better pop though. Cant confirm yet.

On a related note: have you demo'd the board yet? Parks is a hard board to ride, the pop is somewhat less predicable than other boards, and the list of disadvantages goes on. Personally, I found the trade off to be beneficial for ME but it varies with riders.

I'm buying from trinity ,so I have a month to demo it. Do you think its's worth buying the 2004 board over the 2003 board for 259 .

The boards are exactly the same with 2 exceptions:

1. the graphics
2. the 03's come with 1.3" aluminum fins and the 04's come with 1.1" aluminum fins.

When I bought my 03, Mark at Skiworld swapped the 1.3's for 1.1's at no charge - which I though was nice. They earned a return custome for that gesture.

I had a 03' Bio then DNA.

I could tell no Difference except when I carried it to the boat. And even that was a bearly noticable difference.
