I am looking to purchase either of 2 boats.

07 Supreme V212 (3500 lbs)
07 Supreme V232 (4200 lbs)

I'm wondering what I can expect for a total weight with trailer and accessories to be. I have a 04 4runner V8 4X4 with a 7300lb towing capacity. Will ideally be towing 3 miles to lake 2X a week. Towing 30 miles each way 6 times a year. And say 200 miles each way 3 times a year. No particular big hills involved. Upgrading the vehicle is not an option.

So what do you think my combined weight will be boat, trailer, accessories?

TIA

Add 1000 for a single axle trailer, 1200-1300 for a tandem. 300 - 500 for gear.
7300 will be no problem. This is typical for most any 1/2 ton truck.

Add another 1000LBS for trailer. Your are fine. I tow with a 07 pathfinder, Boat and trailer 4300LBS I have no problems. Look at Profile.

Some people will say they tow across the country with that exact setup and some will say they would'nt tow to the grocery store! obivously you have the power to pull it, my main concern would be panic stops and tire blowouts etc. That boat will toss that 4runner around if it gets the chance. I definetly wouldnt recomend over 55 on highways but you should be ok as long as you keep a real eye out on the road infront of you. I use to tow with 1/2 ton trucks around town and minimal highway use and once I upgraded to a bigger boat I realized I needed a bigger truck and couldnt believe the difference towing with a 3/4 ton vehicle.

one other thing -- when you know you will be towing that far... make sure you opt for a dual axle trailer....
