Ok I did my first tube shot the other day and I was having all sorts of problems with water on the lens housing (obviously) I was just wondering if there is anything to put on it to make it not stay on the housing and bead off without ruining image quality?

If you can't get a squeegee on it try spiting on it then re-wet and the water will sheen off.

I don't think the squeegee will work on a EWA bag.

you could get a squeegee on the lens port, couldn't you?

also, apply rain-x on the lens port each time before you go out.

The lens port on a EWA bag has a outer ring around it so you can't swipe it with a squeegee.

you can get mini squeegees.

It wouldn't matter because you can't push the water past the outer ring.

Has anyone tried to put rain-x on an Epic video camera housing? If so, how well did it work?
