Which Board. Hyperlite Byerly or CWB Trancend

Which Board. Hyperlite Byerly or CWB Trancend. These are my two choices. Which do you guys think is better.

Depends on how you like your boards to ride... The byerly is fast & I have heard the Transcend is slower through the water (never riden the transcend yet though, but thats what I have heard)

I've ridden both recently, but both were on different wakes so it's tough for me to compare the pop.

Transcend is very slow! But the explosive pop can make up for it if that's your style. I thought it landed softer than the Byerly, but the Byerly tracks up a little tighter on the landings and straightens out quick. The Byerly deff gave me a lot more edging power and speed into the wake. It holds a much tighter edge in my opinion. Tough call. You might have to buy both!

I used to ride a byerly and I developed bad habits with it. I found myself tracking with the monster molded in fins, instead of the edge of the board.

I would go with the Transcend, which I have ridden as well. The Transcend is alittle slower, but it allows you plenty of time to set up for your next jump and you get ALOT of pop, with little speed. Its a really neat board. You really notice the pop from the center of the board, and the landings are butter smooth.

Sounds good. I will probably go with the transcend.
