Just looking to see if anyone has put a piece of rubber along the swim platform to protect the boat from the people that try and put on boards and insist on banging the board against the boat? ( that sound is like nails on a chalk board to me )

If so is there a product out there with self adhesive? Any reccomendations on adhisive to use?

Thanks
Jase

Love the product but just not what I am looking for as a bump guard. I would like to keep it simple black, 1 thickness and smooth. Anything else that comes to mind? I found some rubber, but I am worried about what to use to attach it to the Gel Coat without future damage etc?

Thanks again

"Should I use the "rubber" for protection...yea...always use the rubber!"

Sorry, I had to

Jason, We sell EVA foam sheets that would fit your needs, but they are not smooth. Our sheets have raised dots. If you are interested in a free sample, please visit our website at www.deckdots.com. If our product does not meet your needs you can visit http://hydroturf.com/
They sell 40"x62" sheets for 59.95 + 20.00 for the self adhesive backing. Good luck

Jason:

I have a transom protector installed on my boat and I think it is exactly what you're looking for. It is made of the same material that they use for "clear bras" for cars.

You can find it on Ebay under transom protector or try this web site:

If you have a teak platform without the raised piece of wood close to the boat then you can just add a piece to keep the boards off of your boat.
