Take a look at Calabria, they are also in that price range.

Where are you located?

look for an early 2000's x-star or Nautique Super Air. Both have an amazing wake, are built great and won't drop in price hardly at all.

Go To Larson, Look at the Cal Air Pro V. Very Nice Classy Simple Boats With a Great Ballast System. The Malibu sales person near there is a total D-Bag though so if you're going there to look at the V-Rides as well, know there is more to malibu than triple stitched leather and real carpet.

I would suggest you do not buy a centurion.

What's wrong with centurions?

nothing alone but compared to the calabria, the calabria is cheaper and a "Very Nice Classy Simple [Boat] With a Great Ballast System". I would not buy a centurion was supposed to be in that post before but I forgot it.

would put a centurion up against any boat out there...as for a starter boat,as long as you are on the water and it throws a wake you will be good. good luck on your buy!!

I think the 07 Moomba Outback V is a great deal. I'm running stock Gravity III ballast, hydraulic wakeplate and it launchs me pretty well (I'm 6'1" 250 lbs). Upload
