Got home today to realize the entire ditch along our street was flooded. Made for some fun first rides of the year!

Jarret,

Spend just one winter up north and any sunny day with highs above freezing makes you itch to hit the water. I've seen people "laying out" trying to get sun, in temps that would make you cringe. Lol, Texas boy

You're probably right!

Hey, I did ride this past weekend in Austin with it cloudy out, air temps in the low 40's, and water temps in the low 50's. I think that's pretty hard core for us Texas folks!

I have to say I am jealous! 70 degrees yesterday in Wisco... didn't even have a chance to take advantage of it!

eubanks, you better believe if the lakes were open up here, we would be out riding, flooded ditches is the best we can do at this point in the season. By the way, the water was probly like 30 somethin degrees, surrounded by ice and snow and what not haha. im goin to AZ in like amonth maybe ill do some ridin down there, but until then, flooded ditches are the norm

That is pretty hardcore for you Texas boys. The low 40's air temp is pretty bad man. The second it hits 60 up here I'm ready to go. Water temps have been 43 at the worst but its tolerable. Makes you appreciate it that much more.
