I am thinking about buying a CWB Marius. I am not anywhere near a pro shop to demo one, but from everthing I have heard, I would like to try one. I am 185lbs and 6'1. Should I be looking at the 140 or 134 because of the width. I am coming from a 141 liquid force subjekt. Can I use my transit bindings on it till I really decide if I like it or not?

134 is way too small. 140 at least

well you are going to like it, i dot think you will have a problem with that. i would get the 140. the 134 would be way to small for you. im 5 9 190 and i ride the 140cm. i love to board. yes you can use the transit bindings on it but if you ever get a chance to try out the hinge tech bindings, take it, you will like them a lot. have fun bro.

Tony, your such a CWB homer Alex broke his board and jumped on a Marius for something to ride, Hated it, said it was the slowest board he ever rode.

maybe Alex needs to learn how to get on his edge, been riding the 4 FIN board for to long, haha. I ride at 87 1/2 feet out, contest or free ride. so if its slow i either cut like a mother or get some amazing pop.

what up Gordie, hows that kid of yours doing?

Gordie, yeah, it's time to switch boards, Alex got an instructors job at the Mt. this year so I don't have to spring for the season pass

Tony, ouch!! Wait till I show him what you wrote Alex went to the Oregon, USC game today, GO DUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't like the Marius either. Definitely get a demo before you drop the cash.

I'm 200LBS 6'0'' and ride a 140 marius with LF transit bindings; I like the board, but it is a little slow. but certainly soft in the landings.

Walt,
PM sent.

Thanks everyone for the help and info. I think I am going to give it a go. There isn't a shop nearby that I can demo it though, so wish me luck.

From what I have experienced, the Marius, and the way it rides, seems to be liked by taller riders. Short stocky guys seem to like the Absolute ride better. I'm 5'7 & 185, the Marius didnt do much for me. JMHO, you should be fine with it, so good luck.
