new boat!

I found a new 05 vlx or i can get a 07 Enzo 216 for about the same price which is the beter deal? I like to surf,the rest of the family wakeboards.

Not sure about the better deal. If I were you, I'd be looking/asking what's the better boat and who's the better dealer. Just to answer your question, myself, I'd stick with the BU.

The 216 Enzo hull isn't anything like the 23 and 24 foot hull. If your looking for a surfing boat the smaller Enzo might not be what you want. The 216 is supposed to be a cross over boat, that is ski and wake.

I've spent a little time surfing behind an 06 VLX, the wake was pretty good on both sides. However by many reports both of the larger Enzos are the leading wakesurf hulls.

i don't think the 216 wake would be as good as the bu because it's a crossover hull. if it's between those 2, go bu. i just bought a enzo 230 because of it's killer wake for surfing.

THe 216 and 230 are VERY close in price.
The 230 would be a better Surf and wakeboard boat IMHO

Hey Dirk I've got an 06 vlx and it does the job for both surfing and wakeboarding.
