Who has the best deal on Boat Insurance?

As many know I just bought my first boat; and I need to start shopping for insurance. Just wondering who everyone is using, and who has the best deal. Any help would be appreciated.

call your insurance provider...ours is thru american family for around 360 a year

360.. what the heck... mines like 650, and I even have 1K deductible, it is all inlcuded though, but i thought I had a good deal, imagine 360? cant remeber the name of mine though

i forget how much i paid (i think 4something), but my insurance company Metlife would cover me so i went through SkiSafe at http://www.skisafe.com/ They were pretty good to work with. My buddy has had insurance through them for a while and never a problem.

If you have car or home insurance with a company, check with them first, as they will usually give you the best rate. I had Allstate and I got insurance for $305 a year for my boat, but if I didn't already have insurance through them it would have been around $5-600.

ya....we have a home, 3 vehicles..the boat, and my business insurance thru them....acutally...now come to think of it they should pay ME to have a boat insured with them
