I installed my fresh air exhaust last weekend. Had the chance to take the boat out yesterday. WOW what a difference this makes.

We were out on the lake to 7 hours. We didn't even get a hint of exhaust fumes/odor all day. Yes, I know CO is odorless, but usually we get some brief exhaust smell in the boat.

The exhaust noise is also reduced. We didn't have to shout at each other on the boat.

Great product, works as advertised!
(installed on 04 sanger v215)

CO is odorless, but I would say in general if you are smelling fumes there's CO in them. So in my uninformed opinion I would say no exhaust smell means much less CO.

How wide is it at the rudder? I've always wondered if it would act like a fixed rudder..

I do notice some handling differences at idle speeds, but nothing at the higher end wakeboard speeds. Worth every penny if you ask me :-)

It comes down less than half way on the rudder and has slower water speed than the rudder so the effect is minimal. Because it's oval shaped at the bottom water can run sideways past it to a certain extent.

Just installed my FAE this weekend. Fastened it to the fixed plate that extends rearward. Didnt like having to drill holes in it, but overall I think it went well. Now I need to get it out on the lake to try it out.
