I have WB pro 6.0
The PP was working and now all of the sudden it does not work. I checked everything and have discovered that the servo motor is not keeping tension on the throttle. ( it is not rewinding the string....) Any hints on how to remedy this?

Thanks

SB

My '00 Tige did that this year and my local shop had to replace the PP servo motor. Cost about $60 including labor. The part was only $30 and looking at it I think anyone could do it themselves.

Does the servo try to wind, or just not move at all?
My set screw on the knob shook loose once, and that is what the string is attached to. The post would turn, but the knob and string would not.

Set Screw is still in place. All was working fine until I had the boat go in for reg maintenance, then no work. Techs said they did not mess with the PP.

Any thoughts

This happens on mine every so often. There is a way to reset it. Turn the motor off. Twist the servo knob all the way clockwise until it's tight. Then back it off 1/2 turn. Go back and key the ignition on and you should see it self tighten and then click a few times.
If that dosen't fix it check fuses then call PP.
Good luck
