Regarding golf, there was a debate on here sometime back over (1) how good the players were on the Nationwide tour versus (2) a really low handicap player on some of the marquee golf courses around the country.
This Hall of Famer (I’m presuming) in another sport was argued as having the talent to compete on the Nationwide tour based on his handicap on a course (which I believe) hosts Nationwide events. On the other side, there were arguments that pin placement and other changes to the course for a Nationwide event change it drastically.
Possibly that’s right.
