I have a solid black boat on order and will definitely stay with a light color inside the boat like platinum or I have been considering the sandrock color. Does anyone have any pics of their solid black hull with a pic of the interior? Like a pic from above? And I would love a pic of a sandrock type interior?
Thanks

I'm not sure what sandrock looks like, but if it's tan/brownish I've never been a fan of any kind of tan or brown inside or out on a boat. Always looks dirty to me!

Diggs;

You will have to post pics of the 22SSV when you get it. DRA has a all black base with a platinum top deck comming. We went with the bone and charcole interior with black piping. It is a killer color combination there is a 21 with similar colors that really pushed us make the choice.

Being an owner of a black and white boat with white interior I would push you in the direction of the plat. or the sand if it works with the black. I can not stand the brown stains I find on and inbetween the cushions from boat slop or morning dew.

hmm I haven't had stain issues, although we do wipe down the cushions with fantastik each day after use.

I like the sandrock and grey interior with the black hull. The sandrock interior hides the stains that show up on the solid white. With three kids in the boat I didn't want white interior. To each his own.Upload

Nice Pic's Wes. It looks like the interior pic's were taken when the boat was brand new. Your open bow pic's look super clean

Wes has over 700 hours on his boat and it's still one of the cleanest 210's I've ever seen.

thanks guys. JR and Putien trained me well. Some soft scrub and a soft brush will get out the more stubborn dirt that builds up over the years (thanks peter) and get the vinyl looking like new again.

I've done auto and boat upholstery work out of my house as a side job for almost twenty years and I would NOT recommend any household type cleaners. They may do a great job cleaning the vinyl, but it's not the vinyl you have to worry about with harsh chemicals it's the THREAD! Why risk it. Use products designed to do the job.
www.malcopro.com Leather and Plastic cleaner is an awesome product well worth the piece of mind.

Sparky,
What are your feelings on Magic Eraser. That seems to be a favorite on this site, and I think it is on the approved list for the boat vinyl.

Diggs ~~ Your 21V was pretty sick and had to be hard to get rid of. Did you sell it to that lady in UT? If so I need to hit her up just so I can see it in person. Looking forward to the 22V!

Darin, they work good. If it's on the list of your specific boat builder you should be fine. I just don't trust generic type household cleaners. I'd rather use a product specificaly designed for what I need rather than some universal "clean all" type of product. And I have not found anything that works as well as a soft bristle brush and the Leather and Plastic cleaner from Malco. I also prefer 303 for protectant.
