I'm not to "sure" of myself on my toeside. ... Here's my 20i, with no ballast. I took it out for a bit, because all my friends were scared. ????? TAPS was set at 8 though.

that is the problem, there are so many posts like this that all the "legit" posts of pics have been lost or archived...

I thought you did not need ballast with a Tige?

Well, as you can see, that is a decent wake, with two people in the boat. It's a 20' DD boat. I'm not complaining. With TAPS, this is what you get. I used to have about 500# of ballast, and a couple more people. The wake gets only bigger. ????? TAPS is the equivalent of factory ballast in a different boat. Then all of you add more ballast.

Since taps is all the way up this is what you get without taps.

We mostly wakesurf these days. '03 23V with custom ballast - port side only, approximately 1300 pounds. From the bottom of the trough to the top of the transition is about 3+/- feet.
