2008 Malibu Board Rack Options

Ok so I have been over to the BU Crew and can't find much. I was wondering what the options are for Malibu VLX Illusion Tower with swivel board racks. I know they have them becasue the 2008 Wakeworld boat has them. Are those the only racks that swivel or are the previous swivel racks available too. Also pictures would be great.

There are two options that can come from the factory. The Titan Swivel rack which is on the Wakeworld boat and Metcraft who makes the illusion X tower also have a swivel. I personally would only go with the Titan, the craftsmanship and the way the swivel mechanism works cannot be touched by the metcraft product.

Here is my problem, my boat house is faily narrow. It will fit the boat but the racks and board on racks are the problem. I don't want to take the boards off evertime I go out so I need a rack that will swivel all the way into the boat. I know that the Netcraft racks will but will the new Titan or Nice racks for the illusion X swivel all the way into the boat?

Present, my .02, go withthe regular board racks. Teh swivel racks will cost alot more $$$, and if your boards are not put on the right way they may hit something and not be able to swivel all the way around. It's not that bad to take off the boards coming into a slip....I've been doing it for the last two years. My new boat has swivel racks, but I hardly ever use them.

I have the nice rack swivels, and like adam, I don't always use the swivel part. They definitely are nice racks, but they were expensive. You wont find anything for an illusion tower that will fold all the way in like the mastercraft racks. It's just not possible with the Malibu tower. With these racks you cant get them inside the boat, but they can buy you some space when folded in.
