what size board??

Looking at getting into surfing, but am curious as to what size board would be ideal for me...

I'm 6'3" - 230 lbs

How is your wake?

In general - a couple of options would be the Inland Surfer Blue Lake or Red Tide boards for someone your size.

The Walker project Composite X 5.0 will work for you. It is my board of choice and I weigh about 265.

Thanks for the insight... Any thoughts on the CWB Ride?? My neighbor has one and I've been on it behind his Supra Launch twice, but I'm also going to see about borrowing it to try out on my boat.

As for my wake, not sure just yet. I know I don't have the ideal boat (1990 Sanger DX), but was trying out the slower speeds this evening and it looked like I might be able to make it work with a slight turn.

As it is... at 10mph, I've got water spraying over the rub rail at the rear. So I don't want to add any more weight and would like to keep it even, as opposed to stacking everything to one side.

Currently, I've got:
150 in the nose
520 next to the engine
100 in the rear

The boards mentioned will be better than the CWB.........Spend a little more to get a Superior product....
