I have seen a bunch of photos of pros running the wedge up. I know that they use a lot of added weight so they might not need the wedge. I run about 2k on top of the factory ballast. I am just curious as to who on here runs the wedge and who doesn't bother with it.

We usually dont run the wedge when we have factory plus 2-3k extra ballast.

I agree. I find that the wedge fights the extra weight and seems to try and pull the boat back out of the water. I stop using the wedge when I have over 1500lbs above the factory ballast.
