I joined the club

So it turns out when I did my knee in back in June 05 they had misdiagnosed it as a severe sprain. After a slow Canadian health care system later I found out I had torn my ACL.

So I'm sitting at home today with a DonJoy brace on having been operated on around 8 this morning. Damn that being knocked out is kinda trippy, I'm still waiting on my head to stop spinning. Although I do have this recollection of coming to when they were putting my knee brace on. Wonder if I did and what they did about it.

So I've come out of a relative hibernation that started in November after getting held up at Gun Point on a cross north america road trip. Good old Rhode Island, Providence wasn't a place I figured I'd get held up in, specially when I was on a dorm packed street. Who'd have known. Well the whole experience did a world of bad karma to my mental well being but I'm coming around and sure enough finding my way back to wakeworld and the many great people here.

So that's my status update in case any of you figured I dropped off the face of the planet.

As for dragging me down to Spring Ride, I guess I'm going to have to make a decision soon. I'd like to keep it consecutive but worse case I'll be there next year.

Go any way some of my best trips are the few I didn't ride at.
