riding a ps3 finless

do yall recommend taking the center fin off my ps3. I want to learn to edge the correct way also would this help the board break loose easier?

A) the center fin out of a board will typically help with proper edging technique. It forces you to keep your edge all the way through the wake instead of relying on the center fin to guide you when you are flat.

BThe PS3 is a great board to ride finless. It is often done this way.

C Taking the center fin out will also make the board much easier to break loose. It will be much easier to do surface spins.

I ride the PS3 but not with the huge fin. I replaced it with a smaller fin. I liked it finless, but like it even better with the smaller fin (.7 I think). The large fin I could not stand.

It will take a few sets to get used to, but you will be glad in the end for the reasons JB posted. The board tracks well without fins - Go for it!
