Ok Ok I know, its my son, but we are so proud of his progression we just had to share. Here's a little quick set with 7 yr old Kane Ward. If you like what you see, give him a follow on IG @_kaneward_

Wow, that is impressive. I've never seen riding like that from a 7 year old, not even close actually!

I loved the Hyperlite video with him talking about going boarding instead of playing video games. Spot on!

He rips! That's awesome. Can I ask what speed and rope length? I'd love to hear other opinions as well, what speed and length are you running your 10-14 year olds at? We have one at 55', about 19-20 mph who's just starting to attempt inverts and what not and I have wondered if I need to reel him in more and slow it down.

Kane rides 19mph at 55.

Thanks Bill. I pretty much taught Kane all he knows. Believe it or not he spends a lot of time riding behind a seadoo on his cable board simply learning basics. Then we take it to 1 wake behind the boat, then 2 wake. No real secret to it, just water time and not skipping steps. Oh and he's the kind of kid that won't get in the boat until he lands what he set out to do.
