What is the wake like on the mobius lsv? Also what is the weight for the stock ballast, and what is a good weight to add to the boat to improve the wake.

And what would be the easiest way to hook an Ipod up to the stero.

thanks

the wake is great! stock ballast is about 1100lbs i think. added some bigger sack in the rear will help the wake.

for the ipod you could just hook it up to the aux input on the deck or buy a ipod capable headunit

Thanks for the tips, as for the aux do you have to have a cable that is almost like the one that goes to you computer speakers only it is the same for the boat? Does the aux hookup come on all the decks mooba offers.

thanks

Aux hook-up is same as for external speakers.

aux hook ups should be on any aftermarket deck

I have a 06 LSV with the Gravity Games III ballast system, one, 500 sack on each side of the motor box and 800 # sack in the ski locker, wake is pretty good, but I would recommend putting an extra 300 to 400 pounds in the front, the wake cleans up better and planes out faster. We run an extra 500 up front plus 200 in lead (100 each side under the seats) If we have less then 5 or 6 peeps, we will through an extra 400 sack in front of the rear seat. Took about 20 hours of playing with the weight distrbution to get it right, but the wake is HUGE. Also get at least the 325 HP motor if you plan on running anything over stock ballastUpload

Randy did you get custom sacs made? where did you get them from? or did you upgrade and get teh gravity games sacs? the gravity games III ballast is only 250 on each side of the motor and 600 in the locker.

Randy, I really like your color choice for that boat. Nice and clean.

Adam, ordered it upgraded from the factory, Matt, thanks, my son Alex picked the colors I was going with all white, but I like how it came out, how is Kevin riding?

I rarely see him. And even more rare is seeing him ride. My wife and I live 2 hours away in Fresno and when we visit we split time between our two families so that makes it tough.

Great minds must think alike because the family did all white last year and they are doing red this year. They pick the new boat up Thursday it's the same color scheme as this one.

I hope i get the chance to meet you and Alex (in person) at some time during the season.

Matthew, sweet looking ride, Alex had a chance to ride with Kevin a couple of years ago in Bakersfield at the USC the day before the finals run, they went out to some local lake behind a Sanger with Mike Cardoza, Matt Medved, Alex and Kevin. I think Kevin got 2nd that year & Alex took 4th. We will be down in Cali this summer hitting up some comps and riding on the Delta. Congrats on the new boat.

Kody,
Keep in mind an 05 or earlier LSV is 20' 8" and an 06 LSV is 21' 6". Most stock stereos have an aux input you can hook up the Ipod to with a jumper cable

Sweet, my parents just recently got a brand new mobius lsv. I am excited. I was just wandering the best way to get my ipod hooked up or if another head unit was required.

So what I will do is just get an aux red and white headphone hook up. Should sound good.

thanks

the sacs that adam was talking about...250's. are the upgraded ones. the 06 comes with a 600 in the locker standard. the gravity III adds two 250 sacs.

i also have an 06 lsv and we put a 750 on each side of the motor, the 600 in the locker and 400 lbs in the bow. Had to get a new prop, but all in all its plenty huge.

Which prop did you get and does the boat plane out easily.

thanks

ACME 537

boat gets up fine now.

just a tip for saving some cash...the 400lbs in the bow is actually the factory sacs from the back. i just filled them up to 200lb each and stuck them under the bow seats. i just leave them full all the time. you can just use the fittings that come with the 750 sacs to plug them up.

Ryan, you thought of plumbing the front sacs in ot the existing system?

i thought about it, but i only drive about 4 minutes to the creek. whenever i come up to your end of town or bethy, i would probly just bring a pump with me.

if i play my cards right...I to will have a house on the lake...or in my case the creek. then i wont have to tow anywhere.
