What is the best way to have the Tower Speakers loud and the boat interior speakers Low or off? I know some people setup it up to where they can use the fade (front and rear) to seperate the two volume settings, but for my head unit it would take too long to adjust and when the boarder goes down and we circle around I want to focus on the boarder in the water (not hitting 15 different buttons), and I want to be able to allow the rest of the boat to hear the interior speakers until we take off again.

I am basically asking because I am going to be getting a new head unit and wondered if there are any units that would allow a quick way to have the tower speakers at different volume levels than the boat interior speakers (maybe Sub control from the unit?). I really don't have the room or budget for a seperate equalizer. Any and all suggestions would be very appreciated. Thanks.

I know you don't want to go the EQ route, but clarion actually makes a good budget one for about $50. Otherwise, look up a PAC. They're like $15 and they are just a small dial you can control volume to whatever you choose.

I have three Pac LC-1's in my boat, love 'em. I have one to control the tower, one for the in-boat speakers, and one for the sub. I cracked the cases open and installed them directly into a removable panel on my dash to give a very clean and professional look. And I can always replace the panel if I go a different route in the future.
