Yeah that could be WD, Proflight, Boss, or like Brit said... Could be a local custom. By rigged do you mean mounting feet and backing plates? Always something you can add to after the fact too.

Yea I say pro flight or wake designs as well.

However the only thing that sticks out is the feet and angles. No proflight or wd tower I have ever seen has had angles like that. They were more rounded. Leads me to believe custom job modeled off one of those two. It's like they made the angle so Sharp to go with windshield.

Nautique made what I think was called the Ski Nautique 176 back in the mid 90s. The boat is exactly that, 17'6", It will make a Ski Nautique 200 look like a 230.

Yup its a ski nautique 176. As mentioned. Very limited boat. I don't recall anything like that on bows, but with everything leaning custom on the boat, I assume its gator grip/ traction pads that were added as the bow could get slippery up there when wet.

Boat is like a rocket ship out of hole. However as far as boarding there is next to zero space for savage and it has a really low freeboard. Its a pure ski barefoot machine. I would advise against it for boarding

Being so new in years you could save a handful of cash and get a boat that is the same size as the now 196. You would be better served with an 86-89 nautique 2001. The 2001 is the model. The wakeboard wake will be much better than on this 196. Otherwise I would suggest an early 90's sport nautique.

what is everyones take on Moomba's ?? what models are better ??

All depends on the year as the hull and boats both changed. The Moomba Lsv or Outback V are always contenders when it comes to wakes. They both have solid wakes. Just the hull changed on both boats as did the actual model.

I used to ride quite a bit behind a 2000 Mobius V, and that thing threw a really nice wake with some extra weight. They are fairly roomy, and with the play pen bow, they have plenty of room to hide a lot of ballast. They are a relatively low frill boat, but they get the job done. I will say that if you plan to weight it, you want the fuel injected motor. Moomba did a good job of working to keep there prices down, so there are some fairly stripped down early models that have the carb motor.
