I installed a heatercraft shower system yesterday. The install was easy and strait foreword. The support bar across the back of the seat had a notch that was the perfect size for the mixing valves. Here are a couple pics of the process

Looks good.
I just put one in my X2. Couldn't live without it after having one in the old boat.
Just something to pass along. The newer boats with dripless shaft seals have a 3/8 (on my MC anyway) water line going to the seal. I teed into this line for my cold water supply figuring the supply to the seal is not needed whent he boat is stationary. It worked great and saved cutting into the raw water intake line like the directions suggested. I found the small plastic fittings supplied with the kit to break easily. Snapped the tee when winterizing, replaced with a brass tee from the hdwr store.
And 3/4" aluminum sq tube works great for mounting all kinds of stuff in the boat. Used it here to make a bracket for the mixing valve. Used it to mount the heater core when installing the heater. Made standoffs for my amps when I mounted them for airflow behind the amps and an easy way to hide the wires. Put end caps on the tubing and it looks almost OEM.

I went the route I did because I have custom ballast sacks that fill the lockers and then some completely.I agree the aluminum is great though I used it to reinforce my engine compartment dividers

Thanks for sharing. I have all the parts to do this, just haven't done it yet. It used to be that we camped on the lake and cleaned up on the back of the boat. Not any more so I am not sure it is worth it on our boat with how we use it.
