I am 57 years old and love to ride with my son and my other older buddies. Tore my ACL Memorial day weekend. Also sprained my MCL. Doctor told me no surgery, that he would fit me with a custom brace and that I could wakeboard again as long as I did not jump and act crazy. Tore the ACL when landing hard on the crest trying to go W2W. Got back on the water this weekend. Took it easy and just rode like a newbie. Great to be back behind the boat and riding. Ditched my old LF 2009 Lyman board. Gott a new Ronix Phoenix Project board. Rides great. Love the board. Knee feels just a little stiff but have not had problems with stability. Rehab exercises and strength training and cycling all help. Donjoy Defiance III brace works but straps seem to get loose when in the water. All the best to you all.
