17 year old girl throwing down in Outlaw!!!

Just got back from the tournament at the Delta today and wow...tons of talent. People are really stepping things up. This little 17 year old gal (Rachelle (sp?) from Chico)ran Outlaw with the big boys today and threw down!!! She had a very solid pass that included a Moby Dick and a Whirly...yeah, you can breath now...a Moby. WOW!!!! She was one of the best female riders I have ever seen!!!

sounds like you're talkin' about raequel hoffman, the older of the hoffman sisters (shawna is the younger). both girls can rip! and yeah, raequel's the only girl stickin' moby dicks.

I got video of all the outlaws, including Raequel throwing a moby followed by the whirly. She was about 2 tricks short of placing up top with the big boys.

It's hard for me to believe these are the same two girls I videotaped for DS2 spring last year. If they keep progressing at this rate they're going to be making a major statement on the PWT let alone the worlds!

Tony, Brady and Chris in that order. Chris and Raequel shared the best trick money followed by Brady and Tony.

Tony's run was pretty sick and he stood it up. Brady had the one fall and probably didn't match him up from a trick qty standpoint. The difficulty factor being pretty even that was probably the difference in my mind.

Delta Hangtime was outstanding. The quality of riding was very good in every division. Many riders showing incredible style. Great job Peter.

Here is the video of both Mobe Dicks. The first was in the best trick contest where the lighting was better, the second was from the main event into the sun. She also landed a whirlybird in the comp.

Hey everyone. This is Raequel, I really have to thank you Peter for working so hard to put the event together. And Jason too! Personally, my favorite trick of that day was Brady's gigantic slim chance. It's really hard to choose between that and all of the glides from Tony and Brady and Chris's seven was to die for. So many tricks looked so neat that day. I look up to all those guys so much. And thank you Steve! Love you all.

Ya, Zedz is right. I think Buster was the only other girl to land a moby dick. But I have not seen anything with her for years.

Raequel, I saw you ride at Villa Lagos on Sept 9th. You kill it! Special props for landing a moby dick and crushing that kicker on your last runs. Someone told me only two boys hit it besides you. The force is strong in this one.

Buster landed the Moby Dick for the trick tips in wakeboard mag, but never in comp. I think Raequl was the first girl to land this trick in a pro comp
