My friends have a 2002 malibu. a few days ago i could not get the boat to turn left over about 8 miles an hour. When it is barely in gear at idle speed it will turn left but not like usual. It feel as though it is slipping, BUT if i turn the boat off and let everything reset it sometimes will fix it self and also i have just turn the wheel to far left and far right a few times and it has fixed it self. Sometimes it may not fix it self so we go in and then we come back out and try and it fixes it self. Has anyone every heard of this? What should i do? I am planning on calling my local dealer to see what up just hoping someone else has had the problema dn can give me some insight. Thanks for anything!

Not fun at all, but do-able.

Kev, I'd flush that thing and ride behind your X-star.
