Has anyone on here ever removed the wall to wall carpet in a malibu and installed a snap in carpet?

Was there glue underneath the factory carpet? What color was the fiberglass?

My guess is it will be fiberglass with no gel coat underneath that carpet. In other words, your going to want to glue carpet right back down after you pull the original stuff up. Snap carpets are used in boats with cockpit liners or with floors that have a gel coat finish.

I may not be right but I'm pretty sure the only Malibu with a fiberglass floor is the MXZ

Gel coated fiberglass, they all have fiberglass floors.
