Security Shutoff Switch

Has anyone ever installed a hidden switch in their boats as a security feature to keep someone from starting their boat. some thing that would keep the fuel pump from pumping fuel to the engine if you didnt know where this switch is?

good idea or not? the reason i am looking into this is from monday to frida our boat is left unattended 2.5 hrs away

yeah but im looking for something that would make it impossible to start even by hot wiring the boat

My boat has that battery switch, took me forever to figure it out when i went to look at boat I bought. The marina I bought it from went so far as to change the battery, before we figured it out. Without that key no power in the boat except bilge.
