Ok, I hate to ask about bindings again, seems someone does 3x a day, but I'd appreciate everyone's input. I can't seem to find a binding I can get in/out of without getting an aneurism in my head. My ankles and feet are fairly wide I guess, and I practically wear myself out getting into and out of bindings. I really am not looking for advice on that, I've tried every method I've read about. What I'm looking for is a set of bindings that give good hold and comfort, but are EASY to get in and out of. By easy I mean no binding lube needed to get in, and after loosening up laces I can pop them off in the water without about busting them off the board. Really the only bindings I've tried that can do this are CBW Mobe's, but I want something that's not a universal binding, and a bit more high-end. I tried last year's Hyperlite Parks, and they were horrible. Hard as hell to get on, and worse to get out of. I'd be breathing hard when I got in the water from the struggle, then dizzy when I got back in the boat from straining to get them off. Sold them and bought some CWB Boss bindings, thinking they were basically a more advanced Mobe. Well, they are a LITTLE easier to get into, but need lube, and are still pretty difficult to get off, requiring some serious thrashing, although not near as bad as the Parks. Very comfortable to ride other than the bottom section being too tight and cramping my foot after 10 minutes. One thing I might could do is replace the laces in the Boss with longer laces, allowing the tongue to move more to give more room to get in/out. I was also wondering if the newer Liquid Force bindings would give me a chance? Sphynx, Transit, Team? How about last year's HL Temets, how loose does the top get when you release the knob? I'm wondering if it's a size issue as well. My feet are size 9, so I usually end up getting something that is like 7-9, but my Boss are 8-10, and still are hell. Maybe I need to go to the next bigger size even though it doesn't seem right? So, if anyone has tried a nice pro-level binding that is EASY to get on and off, I'd appreciate the advice. Local shop has LF Team's on clearance for $199, but he said they are pretty hard to get into. They have Transits, but for some reason aren't as cheap, maybe because they're more popular? thanks!
