I just installed 4 tower lights and used the switch witch was on the pannel already. I will blow the breaker as soon as I turn it on. but when I only hook up two lights it works fine. Should I install a bigger breaker or another switch and breaker?

sounds like its all f'ed up to me.

What's up Scott, made the maiden voyage on the new boat this last weekend and everything went great. I will let you know when I'm in the neighborhood so we can get together. Great to hear that you're back on the water, if you haven't heard, I tore my acl a couple weeks ago and will have surgery a week from wednesday, so hopefully, I'll take the scott smith rehab plan and get back into things before you know it.

hope things work out for you during surgery work that rehab hard. So how do you like that new boat? I just pulled the breaker and it is a 5 amp breaker If two lights a hooked up it all works good but but If I hook up all four that is when it blows the breaker

Are you running the wiring though a relay?

You need to add a relay or two for your lights depending on how much wattage they consume, never hook them up straight to the switch, cause you can fry something else on the boat. relays are about $1.00 at a stereo shop plus wire and connectors. And dont forget you need to add a fuse to those relays. A 40 amp is a good size.
