Public Service Announcement here...
Not sure if I let you guys know but i just added two more Wet Sounds XS-XXX's totaling in at four XS-XXX's in 1.78 cu ft ported enclosures. With a Syn1 going to each woofer. I also doubled up on battery amp hours.
Total wattage comes out to 7400 watts rms
- four syn 1's
- three syn 4's
- four XS-XXX
- eight XS-650's
- four Pro 80's

Nice! Sounds like you need to take the Pro 80's to Rev 10's so they can keep up with the interiors. You know you want to...

Brian,
we need pics!!! where did you wind up putting them? Our demo boat hit 150dB with two XS-XXX off two SYN-1's!! You should be insane.
REV 10 are due on the 22nd! You need to get some video of the bass and tower once you get the REV 10's on.
Our boat is getting two pairs of REV 10 on the tower as well. we are going to have to hook up one day in the cove and Boat link our WS-420's and see how many fish we can kill....

Tim,
I ended up putting the woofers in each rear locker with a nice carpeted tray that goes over them but still allows breathing room. Woofers side fire at port & starboard sides. The two extra woofers in the rear really give the boat a more well rounded sound. Im pretty happy with it so far. Let me know when you want to link up!

gotcha. thx. was just wondering because i saw the comment that 4 xxx subs were useless and i remember when people were telling you that 4 pro-485's were useless and you insisted they weren't. and then ended up taking 2 of them off eventually.

So when this is all said and done, you are going to run 6 XXX and 8 Rev 10s! I hope you bring tools to the lake to tighten everything back up or that very sweet ride of yours is going to shake its self to death.

i was joking about the 2 other xxx's but i might do 8 rev 10's on the new boat. The boxes in the rear are marine ply. was going to build them out of king starboard but wasnt sure how long i would actually roll around with 4 12's. I will likely yank the two xxx's and two syn1's that i just added before i sell the boat.

Brian- you really need to make it out here to California. Would love to link up a bunch of the Norcal boats and kill some fish with you sometime. Well done, although I'm fairly certain you should be able to fit 3 12's in each rear locker so not sure why you are cutting corners

i have had thoughts of shipping the boat out that way for a weekend. i can just picture it now....i finally get on the lake, we all link up, and i blow a woofer or something 30minutes into the weekend. If Tim will supply me with back up equipment I think i could make this happen
