Nice pics Disco. Entrust is working on the ladies for next time. These pics didn't go over too well with the wife. She happened to be looking at the screen when I opened it up. "No honey, I didn't see that girl in the pink!!"

I wish there was video of bryans boat when he dropped us off, I was, and I am sure most of us were in a panic. I had no idea what to do and had never seen such a thing. Glad everything came out ok, and I caught my glasses. Ha. Had fun seeing everyone out there today and just hanging out. Maybe this wednesday we'll all be back out.

Yeah it is tough to ride with all the entertainment being tied up. I think it will be easier when the water temp is over 50 and the winds aren't kicking...
Was good to meet all you others out there and many more times like that. Once the weather warms up count on every wednesday night back in the same area or over at the beach by where entrust hit the pipe. Save all your wednesday nights through the summer and we will be able to keep Wet Wednesdays alive!!! Spread the word... Maybe we can get elcarteros spinning for us....

Entrust, where did you bottom your boat? I remember a few years back when I owned a BlueWater Mirage I was on the Willamette just crusing along shootin the breeze. Next thing I knew I'm in six inches of water and my outdrive was danglin. Up by Meldrum / Oregon City area.

Don't go out on the river much anymore because Merwin and Yale are so convienent for me.

in the lagoon in the SW corner there was a dredgging pipe about 8" underwater and i ran right over it

TK, yes it is windy up there sometimes. I just really can't enjoy the water in the Willamette or Columbia Rivers.

Giles, Brush Prairie here, it's about a 25 minute drive for me to Cresap Bay or Saddle Dam.

Not talking smack about the river folks, I just prefer the cleaner water in the lakes.

Dave, if you want clean & don't mind cold hit the Lewis just before it runs into the Columbia. It can be cold, but it's almost always smooth. Take the LaCenter exit & head west until you hit the river.........

Hey, Giles thats my spot stay out!!!
I usually put in at ridgefield its about 15min from the house. If you hit it on the incoming tide it tends to warm up a bit and is still clean. Love that spot.

Didn't see any of you PDX guys out there this evening. We launched from a slip down from Willamette Park. Water was great. Only traffic was the Lewis and Clark college row team and a lone bass fisherman.

We stayed out of the lagoon. There was some barge traffic. Other than that it was near glass the whole evening.

Should be out tommorrow.

The water was 54 degrees today. It should be sixty in two weeks. Once the water hits sixty summer begins and all you need is boardshorts.
