Wake Upgrade!

going from a 180 Sea Ray to a low 20 g's wake boat. any opinions on a 1999 X-Star with the vette engine?

That vette engine isn't very good for low end torque where you want it. Nice for top end but you don't need that in a wakeboat. They stopped putting those in boats after a few years. If the price is right you could probably live with it but there are a ton of boats for sale for good prices right now.

If you want the most options for the $, then get a used Supra Launch 22SSV... You should be able to find a 2001 - 2003 in the 20's. However, your best deal will be the beggining of next year... IMO - The price on used boats are going to drop hard this coming winter..
