I posted this in the women who ride section as well but this section gets a lot more traffic so I'm going to post it here too -maybe your girlfriend, wife, sister, daughter, friend, etc rides a flex board and you can share their opinion with me.

Hey ladies I'm looking fir some female feedback on a flex board - mainly Slingshot boards.

I ride a 07 Premier now and it's ok - don't love it or hate it - I've only ever ridden a premier so I'm looking for something new.

I can clear the wake on occasion but not consistently - in part because I chicken out due to not wanting to crash hard

thanks in advance for your feedback/opinions

ok, ill help you out, I know im a guy but I came from the premier to the ss recoil. Slingshot is more fun, premier is better for small wakes (i/os, inboards with no ballast) Anything with a good to great wake I take my recoil.

One of my best friends is a girl and she bought the pink pearl and jewel boots as her first board. She loves it, however I will warn you, the pink pearl/response shape is a rocket on the water. The board is REALLY fast. She had a lot of trouble until we put the boots at the widest stance and then she could make it track all over the place. As for learning to jump, well you are gonna have to get over it and learn a progressive edge or no board will ever be very good. If it were me, I would put you on the pink pearl/response shape and not the recoil shape. The speed will help once you learn to get use to it and go for it. hope that helps some

Definately some good info! I'm trying to demo the pearl or the drama but I'm in the Fresno, CA area and there really isn't anyone with any flex demo boards so it's making it a bit difficult.

I'd say we have a good wake - not great but they guys clear it and throw decent tricks off it

Take a look at Sine flexboards. They can tailor the flex pattern to how you ride and how big you are. The board rides a bit like the premier but has great landings and really good pop.

What time will you be out there on Saturday?

And I'm sorry if this is a silly question but how does it work? We just show up and I can ride your demo boards with your boat? I've never been to a demo before just always rented board to try . . .
