so heres the q-

I was riding yesturday, and my buddy's were telling me that last week the saw Ricky G. doing tantrums to butter. So as with the natural progession of things we argued about it for ten minutes and then I decided to try it to show that it was impossible. As I assumed, It was just a real nice easy was to get my board off, and hook up my frontside edge with force. I also tried a couple of one wake ts backrolls to revert, this seemed more possible but again, It was just a nice way for my face to hit the water really hard. Has anybody ever heard of this??? And is it possible. I will try a few more today, becuase it is a sick Idea, but it just may not he possible. If you got a vid someone doing it save the like, I gotta check it out. Next time I see Ricky I gotta sak him

I have seen a number of people pull a back flip while riding in the flats with no wake to give them a ramp. They just seem to oli up and rotate quick.

wait...do you mean tantrum to butterslide? like a tantrum plus 90 degrees of rotation?

ive landed a wake to wake jump with 90 degrees of rotation. basically a wake to wake landing in a butter slide (unintentionally...it was a lazy 180), so its possible to land like that by itself. i think it would take a hell of a lot of balance to land like that after rotating a tantrum or backroll though.

yeah I mean a tantrum to butterslide on the wake. and you get what I mean by a single wakeflip right. Like doing a toeside backroll by going straight up off the ts wake and landing on the ts wake.

I used to do unintentional tantrums to 90 when I rode the old Byerly finless. It bothered me at first, but it got to be kinda fun. All it really takes is a loose board and a sloppy landing. As far as one-wake flips go, Parks does them, as do many other people. Check your old Wakeboarding Magazines.
