Boat is down for awhile!! We were cruising at a whopping 3 MPH looking at the lots and homes on our local lake and all the sudden the whole boat shakes and makes the most awful sound I have ever heard. I look back and we had run over a "no wake" bouey that had been cut off at 1-2 inches below the water level. Man, I was shocked and ticked. After I got over my it, I put it back in gear and when I would go more than 5 MPH we had a major vibration.....Got it to the Marina got it out of the water and the prop is bent to He_ _!!!! Oh well, I guess a spare prop is in my near future!!!! I am also going to have this one repaired. What is the going rate for repair, I heard areound $60.00?

For the second time in a year we bent a prop by hitting a turtle ! The first time we found the turtle on shore a couple of days later. We have not seen this one yet, but I’m sure it has more than a headache.
I put almost 2000 hours on boats in rock and stump infested public lakes in Texas without hitting anything. One year on a private lake in Florida and two props (and two turtles) down :-(

Mike, what's up? It was in the 3rd cove up from Carolina Marina. I appreciate the offer for a pull, I am not sure what our plans are this weekend yet. The prop should be fixed by next weekend though. I talk to you later.
Todd
