My trailer guide post pads have the word "Centurion" painted in white and every time I load up and bump the rubrail it puts white marks on the rail. They are adding up and I need to clean it off. I heard acetone would work but it doesn't. Help.

goo gone... they make two types a water based one in a plastic spray bottle and a oil based one in a can... I bought both however, the only one I've used is the water based it seems to be the best and its not as harsh.

Acetone didn't work? Interesting. I have to hit my rubrails prolly every third time we launch and it works like a charm for me. Your pads must have the words 'painted' on with something different.

Try another type of solvent, perhaps?
