Ok i have a 1984 ski nuatique with pylon pole. Its not the best boat ever but i got it for about 7,000, relativly cheap. i know the 1984 produces a nice wake but i found a super clean mastercraft 1982 for 6,000. should i sell the SN and put a ballast system and tower on the MC or keep what i got. Also what kind of wake dose a 1982 MC have?

I'd keep the nauty. there is no way in hell you'll be able to do ballast AND tower for a 1k difference.

The MC wake will be tiny compared to the Nautique, and much harder to make it big. If the Nautique runs, I would keep it.

i'm a mastercraft guy, but if I were you, I wouldn't do it. there's not enough room for error. especially on something like an older boat. even a small problem w/ the MC would put you in a hole

Also coming from MC guy,you are better of keeping what you got.On the same note if it was reversed and you had the MC and looking at the nauty,I would say keep what you got cuss you know what your boat is and have no clue about the other.
