Just pull the intake hose and stick your garden hose in the end. It's quicker and easier than laying under the boat with a fake a lake.

Thanks Andy, I'd do it if I had any time. I work full time and am in law school full time, so projects have very little room in my schedule.

can this be used to heat up the engine to change the oil easier?

Our Price: $ 44699.00??

Yes, it can be used to heat up the engine. But be carefull as your climbing under the trailer, climbing in the boat, and moving around in the boat. You don't want the fake-a-lake falling off the boat while it's running.

It's much easier & safer IMO to run a hose adapter on the intake hose like Jay said. No climbing under the trailer, no issues with it falling off. All the parts were from Home Depot. And it's probably a bit less expensive than the one listed.

You can even make a tee so there's no pulling hoses at all. Just don't forget about the shut-off valve on the garden hose side or it won't draw any water when you put the boat in the water.
