I love my 20v. I can load as much weight as i want and the wake never crumbles. It's not as big as other boats but it does the job. 6 people is comfterable. I have had as many as 10 with 1000 lb fat sacks and it was a little tight. The wake was huge though!! I have not had any major problems. It is a good solid boat. It does well in Havasu chop. If you don't need a big boat this will be a great choice.

The 20V is a great boat but I believe you can step up to the 22V for only about $1500 more.

Before the 20v i had a 20i. The wake was washed out and steep. I had ridden behind a super air, prostar 190, and a air natique. Then i test drove the 20v with the new hull and i liked the wake a lot. The new hull was not out for the 21v and i did not think i needed the extra room. The 20v has a lot of storage and for 4 to 6 people it is plenty big. So i went with it.

There is a HUGE difference in Wake size and shape between the Tiges and the Nautiques. Nautique has a much lighter and narrower hull- around 92-94 inch beam I recall? The Tige is 102" and outweighs the competition by a minimum of 1000 Lbs.-BEFORE you add ballast! While this can be hard on gas consumption, there is no comparision to the wakes- the Tige is MUCH better- Wider, very crisp but not too steep. You can ride at 75 ft. and it's like being at 85-90 with any other boat. Also, the Tiges have very high freeboard and better seating. In the Nautique you kind of feel like you're riding very high out of the boat. I have kids and I like feeling like they're safe in the boat and the Tige provides that nicely. If you're going to Ski 90% of the time and wakeboard occasionally, then you may want to go with the Nautique- it has a much better skiing hull and wake shape at 32-36mph than the Tige, but we tend to board more these days. Hope this helps.

The 20V has a beam of 96", the 22 and 24 series have beams of 102". The tige does outweigh most other boats, the 20v is like 3880 pounds, dry.
