Ive heard a lot of differnt opinoins on this, so be specific. My boat is great, but the wake is only enough to get BARELY a w2w off of..what are some good things or brands i could use for weight?

big bump fat sacs are the bomb...and very cheap for how much weight you get.

I agree with rob on the big bump sacs. I've got one for my Air Nautique. The problem is you're dealing with an 18' Larson. My parents have the same boat and before I got my Air Nautique that's what I used to wakeboard behind. Weight will help but the shape of the wake will always leave something to be desired. My recommendation is to through a sac under the rear seat and then focus on your technique. In my opinion clearing the wake is as much technique as it is wake size and shape. Just for reference I used to be able to pull off 180's behind my parents boat with no weight in it.

i used to ride behind a 17' i/o i experimented wit the weight for 4 years the smartest thing i ever did was buy a plate for the lower unit itbolted on easily above the prop. then i put 1 sack in the bow walk area. then try to raise the bow with the trim when you are on plane. this will actually cause the back of the boat to sink giving you a big wake but the bow weight will keep it from coming off plane and will help hold your speed. this worked really well for me. the plate is a cobra plate found in overtons catalog or online they are 35$.
