I've been working(not much though) on my stringers and floor for 2 yrs. I just need to get a broken bolt out of the moter and put it back together.

I've just about finished my new ballast system for the Sn2001. All tank setup, fills 1500 pounds in 4 mins. NO PUMPS. Want to see it?

Nice Darren, I did a similar setup in my last boat when I redid the interior and everybody really liked the layout alot. Keep us updated.

Darren, can you explain how that fills and drains without pumps?

My guess would be scuppers on the hull allowing it to fill when under way. Would then drain when the valve is opened when stationery.

I guess you don't need a lot of storage space :-)

darren, did you make the tanks? are you gonna make a u shaped cusion to cover it all? that would be pretty neat.

Jay is on to it, 2x 1&1/4" scoops, I had to reduce my scoop insert from 45º to 30º because the first test filled the tanks in 2mins & then blew everything apart at the seems.

Snap on carpet round the tanks, drop in cushions in the popups and behind the dog house.

Don't need storage, women and children stay on shore with this boat.

Anyway enough hijacking, I will create a dedicated thread next week when I have the carpet snapped on.
