I have been messing around with different angle and space between bindings but am still having trouble finding something comfortable any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I ride with them spread all the way out to help me stay stable and balanced on the board. Also I angle my toes out for better stance. You can angle your front foot binding more if you want.

Have you done the jump test? Put your board down and stand behind it. Jump up and land but not on the board. Look at how your feet are and set up the bindings just like that. It's not a sure bet, but it's as close to natural as you'll get.

Well to start whats your ability?

I set up beginers a little outside shoulder width, with a fairly neutral toe setting. Maybe a 10-12 degree toe out?

When in doubt I'd go wider. And use whats comfortable when angling toes out. I go at 18/20 degrees out for mine.

I had a very close call with a knee injury as a result of my binding rotations... ended up hyper-extending my MCL. After that I started looking more into it and of course you would find that you want the most natural stance possible.

The best way I found to do this is to stand behind your board and jump into the air landing on it. Notice that your feet will naturally land in a rotated manner. Align your boots with your feet as they landed, and you should as I noticed feel a very natural movement when you land.

As far as the distance between your bindings I think that is whatever you feel comfortable with.
