wow i havnt rode that board in years but what i do remember is it had decent pop and the most memorable part was its speed.. fast ass board.

I've been riding one since as long as I can remember. It was a dark day when they discontinued it, but like a second birthday when they brought it back. Lyman was riding one until he got his pro model. I think he must have seen me riding it! :-)

david... i know most think that it is a lower model in the line.. but i love a fast continuous rocker... is it poppy and fast??? i might just buy one today.. but i wanted feedback

You may want to check out the Lyman. I talked to the Liquid Force rep at the Chicago Boat show and he said that Keith's board rides like the Trip with the pop of a shane. I am not sure how they accomplish but he said Lyman wanted the consistency and speed of the Trip with some massive pop.

im also lookin for price... broke a$$ college kid..but i would like a very predictable 3 stage.

I was debating between both the Lyman and the trip all winter. I went with the lyman 135 and just got it today. I'm pumped. I did love the 2007 trip limited graphics.

that has to be the best and most enticing description/ review of the Lyman i have heard yet (though the reviews are thin for the moment).

I've ridden the trip a few times... way back when it came out and thought it was AMAZING, but got a byerly 'cause of a good deal and because i just love his style and has always been a fav. never ridden the Shane, but of what and how much i have heard, i almost feel like i have ridden it.
Dang, sounds Awesome!... but I am still pretty positive I am gona remain a flex board guy though

rode a recoil at tsr.. cant say much for it.. b/c i didnt get to experience it off the wake... but i buying a new board tomorrow... no where to demo.. and im lookin on ebay for SOMETHING.
